Board of Directors

Dhirajlal Vallabhbhai Kotadia is the Chairman of our Company. He holds a diploma in electronics and sound engineering (with in-plant training) from the Technical Examination Board, Gujarat. He is also the founder-chairman of Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited.

Bhargav Dhirajlal Kotadia is the Managing Director of our Company. He holds a bachelors’ degree of science from Purdue University in USA. He has a total of 8 years of industry experience in a range of senior management positions managing projects and corporate development in mid-size companies in the healthcare as well as high tech capital machinery industries. He also currently serves on the board of directors of Sahajanand Life Sciences Private Limited, SMT Cardiovascular Private Limited and Vascular Concepts Limited.

Mr. Ganesh P Sabat is the Chief Executive Officer of Sahajanand Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (SMT) and has served in that position since April 01, 2013. Prior to this appointment, he held other positions within SMT since joining the group in February 2010, including Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for finance and accounts department.

Mr. Ganesh has more than 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and finance. He has cross-cultural as well as global exposure in medical devices, life sciences, chemical, and financial services industry.

Mr. Ganesh has earned his MBA from Washington University in Saint Louis, USA. He is also a Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).                     

Abhishek Rajendrakumar Kabra is a Non-Executive Director of our Company and the nominee of Samara Capital Markets Holdings Limited on our Board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce, University of Mumbai. He is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MBA from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He works as Managing Director of Samara India Advisors Private Limited under dual agreement with Samara India Advisors Private Limited and Samara Alternate Investment Management LLP. He has investment and portfolio management experience across consumer, healthcare, banking, and logistics sectors. He currently serves on the board of directors of Medicover Healthcare Private Limited. He was previously associated with Reliance Capital Asset Management Limited.

Jose Calle Gordo is a Non-Executive Director of our Company. He holds a master’s degree in science from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain. He is a global medical device executive with over 30 years of business experience. Currently, he is an Operating Partner at Valiance Asset Management, a venture growth investment firm in London. Previously he held leadership roles at Abbott Vascular and Guidant Europe SA in the fields of coronary intervention, structural heart, peripheral vascular and cardiac rhythm management. He started his career at Eli Lilly where he had several commercial roles with growing responsibility in the field of cardiac devices.

Mr. Gautam has more than 13 years of experience in different leadership roles in this business in different geographies looking after client relationships, origination and investing. His experience spans origination and working on deals spanning M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, distressed debt, structured fundraising, and derivatives. The deals covered a gamut of industries – technology, pharmaceuticals, cement, industrials, manufacturing, textiles, infrastructure, oil & gas, telecom, and power. He is associated with Samara Capital as well.

Mr. Gautam is a cum laude graduate from Princeton University followed by an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.

Harivadan J. Pandya is a member of Board of Directors at Sahajanand Group. He is associated with Sahajanand Group since 2002 and had provided his services to the group in the Financial Controller and CFO positions with various Sahajanand Group of Companies. Harivadan brings 18 years of senior leadership experience in finance, accounting, management accounting and corporate strategy. He also has a background in management consulting and auditing. He has an international exposure in medical devices, information technology and electronic discovery industries ranging from start-ups to well-established companies.

Harivadan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, Associate Cost and Management Accountant of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a non-practising member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Harivadan has a bachelor’s degree in Advanced Accounting and Auditing from Gujarat University.

Sonalika is an investment banker for over 18 years, working closely with companies on their strategy and investment / fund raising / public market plans etc.

Currently, she is working with UPL Ltd. in a corporate role, where she has helped subsidiarize and raise capital across two business and involved in board discussions.

Debasis has been an Investment Banker with more than two decades of  professional experience. He is currently the founder and managing partner of Mridayaa Ventures LLP, a boutique investment banking Advisory platform and advises companies on business strategies, fund raising, public listings, merger, and acquisitions etc.

Prior to Mridayaa, he was Executive Director- Investment Banking at Nomura in India. In past, he also has been associated with ICICI Securities and SBI Capital Markets as part of their investment banking team.
