I joined SMT and found myself to be the only woman in the International Sales Department. But I have been welcomed and treated with care and respect by my colleagues. The flexibility in the working days, non-restrictive HR policies, positive and well-communicated culture is what I love about SMT. I believe, SMT's stimulating work environment has instilled a zest for performance and a positive attitude in me and has helped me achieve success.

SMT has allowed me to grow in an independent manner and inculcated entrepreneurial thinking in me. Even if you make mistakes, you will not be discouraged, instead will be encouraged to take it as a learning experience. Fun Friday, office trips, regular team lunches, ample paid leaves and annual galas for employees and their families make working at SMT a wholesome experience.

What is commendable in SMT that employees working from various parts of the world in various departments and all have freedom to express ideas, explore, learn and apply different things in order to achieve what is needed. SMT is an MNC, but it has its own Indian twist to its working culture, where we celebrate everyone's birthdays, festivals and milestones with the same zeal.

I have spent 13 years at this place, being my first job, and has been an ever-growing journey. SMT is the only Indian company in medical device which promotes and invests in research. Its infrastructure, up to date laboratory facilities, and a friendly environment give me the freedom to innovate quality products. My reputed position in the medical device industry is due to the exposure and opportunities provided by SMT.

I always wanted to combine my independent thinking with a team that has great values and has the desire to improve patients' lives. It was only due to the original vision of our Chairman to increase access to affordable medical treatment that makes SMT highly distinguished from any other International company in the market. The respect with which employees treat each other and its customers are a testament to the forward-thinking people. This serves as a medium for my personal growth as well and makes my work extremely rewarding.

SMT focuses on innovation and technology along with building a better world. I have the freedom to focus on personal development along with maintaining job responsibility. I have always been interested in building a career in the medical industry, and I can assuredly say that SMT has been the best choice for furthering my professional interests.

As a process engineer at SMT, one thing I can guarantee is that I've never stopped learning. The moment I master something, my learning curve increases. As an Assistant Manager in the Quality Assurance Department, I can genuinely say that SMT has been the best place to work and grow personally and professionally. I find that SMT's workforce has always been a multicultural, one which makes us adaptive and balanced.

There are four reasons that keeps me going – (a) I have been a part of SMT since inception. It’s like a family to me. SMT ensures proper training for the freshers to make them well-versed with the market scenarios and trends in the industry. I take great pride in the way I was trained over the years at SMT. I personally believe in the mission of ‘Pledged to Save Millions’.

SMT is the well cultured organisation which I found in my whole career, if you are career oriented with hard work then SMT is the best company to work. SMT treats all its employees as a family, I learnt many sales & leadership skills from all my seniors & mentors. 7 yrs have been fulfilling turbocharged bullet train journey in SMT. Among very few organisations where senior management have cordial connect with everyone. I am associated with SMT since inception. I am working with Sahajanand Group for many years and have a rich working knowledge. The work environment is enriching, team members are great, and it feels more like a second home.
